These are the films of an 8-year old girl with failure to thrive from a small village in India. She presented with chronic cough and occasional right sided chest pain. Eventually, the girl was operated upon and she is now doing well. What is the likely diagnosis ?

possibilities are-1.bronchogenic cyst/pulmonary cyst.2.hydatid cyst3.Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation.

this is a intrabronchial rupture hydatid cyst of the right lobe of liver

primary lung hydatids are quite rare though they can occur
there is air within the cyst so it is definitely ruptured.
by the way,in due course this will resolve without any further traetment[barring secondary infection] as cysts are coughed out!

We never see anything like this in the US. My first guess was bronchogenic carcinoma. O.M.G. This is amazing.
